WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING TO CAMP EACH DAY?

WHAT IF MY CAMPER DOESN'T START ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP?

At Sierra Canyon we have new campers who start whether it’s week 1 or week 9! Our counselors are fantastic at introducing and integrating your new camper to new friends and showing them the ropes. At Sierra Canyon we have a saying that on the first day of camp you’re a “new timer” but by the end of the first day of camp you are an “old timer”!

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF DAYS I NEED TO ENROLL MY CAMPER FOR?

Each camper is required to be enrolled for a minimum of 10 days. Sierra Canyon Day Camp is a vast camp sitting on nearly 30 acres of property. Anything less than ten days would highly diminish the fun, friendships and activities in the way they were meant to be experience.

I NEED TO CANCEL A FEW DAYS I REGISTERED FOR, CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND?

HOW DOES YOUR GENERAL CAMP PICK UP AND DROP OFF WORK?

When you arrive at Sierra Canyon every day, please place your carpool authorization pass on your dashboard where it is visible. A Sierra Canyon staff member will approach your car and call for your camper who will then be escorted to our carpool pick up line. Please stay in the carpool line as your camper is walked by a staff member to your car. Please move all the way up the line so that we can serve as many cars as possible. Never exit your vehicle during carpool. Don’t worry, we are great with car seats!

ARE YOUR STAFF BACKGROUND CHECKED?

All Sierra Canyon employees who are 18 and older are required to provide mandatory live scans before they are allowed to work with our organization. Any employees under 18 are required to provide a valid work permit. All employees go through a rigorous ACA accredited training course before the start of the summer in addition to several courses on first aid, CPR and crisis management. Your child’s safety is our highest priority and you can rest assured that there is no safer place in the world for them to be then in our care.
