CIT's (Counselors in Training)

Counselor in Training (CIT) Program

Students entering 9th and 10th grade receive training and experience working with children in a summer camp environment. They learn valuable life skills pertaining to behavior management techniques, initiative experiences and role modeling. The camaraderie, friendships, and lessons learned in the CIT program will last a lifetime! Many CITs have the opportunity to move upward within our staff to become future Junior Counselors, Counselors, Specialists and possibly Directors at Sierra Canyon. Those interested in becoming a CIT candidate are encouraged to download and complete the application and return it to our office.
