Movie Making Camp:

(Boys and girls entering 4th – 9th grades) “You’ve taken the tour of the backlot...well, the tram stops here...now get off and let’s make some movies!” Learn the art of movie making with hands-on participation in the movie production process including full access to all tools necessary for digital movie making, off-site field trips to film studios and museums, and presentations from film industry expert speakers. Campers learn to use digital video cameras, lighting, sound and green screen tools, and digital non-linear editing equipment while creating their very own short films. Each three week intensive program will focus on the collaborative process of movie making allowing each camper to bring their own unique, creative flare to their projects. No filmmaking experience is required for MOVIE MAKING CAMP. This is a camp designed for everyone from the film novice to the film buff. Emphasis is on fun and creativity. All movie making equipment is provided. The Sierra Canyon Studios are complete with cameras, lights, green screens, and professional editing equipment!
